Implants used in the reconstruction of large and irregular cranial bone defects that can result from unfortunate accidents, surgical operations and cancer. They allow you to achieve very good aesthetic effects. Produced through CNC milling of the Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (Chiluren®1020 material).
- Individual orbital bone implants Orbitech®
Implants used for the reconstruction of complicated defects within the area of orbital bone. Orbitech® implants precisely reconstruct complex geometry of orbital bone tissue.
Orbital bone implants are also produced through CNC milling of the Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (Chiluren®1020 material).
- Mandible and temporomandibular joint implants
Implants for maxillary surgery – mandible and temporomandibular recontruction.
This type of implant is made of the Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (Chiluren®1020 material) or titanium alloys.
Mandible and temporomandibular joint implants are not medical device as defined in Directive 93/42/EWG .
The use of these implants is only possible with prior approval of Bioethics Comission for carrying out medical expreriment.
The Unit is open for cooperation in the field of design and implementation of individual medical implants concerning anatomy other than described above. In such cases prior approval of Bioethics Comission for carrying out medical expreriment is also necessary.
