A unique service, customers in over 140 countries and a constant appetite for development – the jury of the 11th edition of the Foundation of Sukces Pisany Szminką (Succes Written by Lipstick) Businesswoman of the Year appreciated Katarzyna Przybył, the founder of XOXO Solutions. The Jury awarded her company the title of Start-up of the year. Congratulations!
XOXO Solutions is a Łódź startup that has created a portable router, thanks to which travelers have access to the Internet in the farthest corners of the world. They also do not have to worry about high roaming bills, because the service charge is fixed.
– XOXO WiFi is an alternative to risky public hotspots or SIM cards. – explains Katarzyna Przybył, founder of XOXO Solutions. – After activating, the portable router connects to the operator that offers the strongest signal in a given place. XOXO provides Internet directly from local operators. It enables to significantly reduce costs. In most countries, XOXO WiFi provides access to several operators, so the router automatically connects to the one with the best coverage. – she adds.
Currently, XOXO WiFi offers its services in over 140 countries not only in Europe, but also in Asia, both Americas, Australia and Oceania. They have signed contracts with over 300 operators. Their services are also used by, for example, clients of the BNP Paribas bank.
The Łódź company was among 710 nominees. There was a strong competition, but the simplicity and universality of the service convinced the jury.
The Businesswoman of the Year Sukcesu Pisanego Szminką competition is the oldest and largest initiative in Poland, which has awarded 90 enterpreneurial persons so far. Its initiator was the president of the Foundation of Sukces Pisany Szminką – Olga Kozierowska, 11 years ago. The initiative aims to appreciate Polish women who are not afraid to implement bold business, social and cultural projects. Owing to that, new opportunities for development and attracting business partners and investors are opening up for the participants.
The finalists and then the winners are selected by a jury consisting of men and women representing the largest companies in Poland and in the world under the leadership of dr Irena Eris. This is a group of people with diverse experience, which enables to make the best choice.
